Urban mobility has evolved tremendously over the past 15 years, but there has been little to no major progress in protection gear, although some models today do seem to stand out.

That is why we wanted to introduce you to the Livall BH51 helmet, the connected urban-style bike helmet that appears to be the new generation of protection. But what are the key factors to consider about this brand and its products?

Who is Livall?

Livall is a Chinese company based in Shenzhen, with a relatively recent history since it was launched in 2014. Specializing in cycling equipment, the company develops smart and connected products aimed at making urban cycling safer, more secure, and more high-tech.

The young company founded by Brian Zheng already made a name for itself in 2015 at IFA Berlin by winning several awards, and also in Las Vegas in 2016 as a finalist in the "Gadget Standing Contest" category at CES.

With several international patents, the company is at the heart of rapid global expansion and offers equipment and applications that increasingly appeal to cyclists. Although still in its early days, it is highly likely that the company is on track to become a giant in its field thanks to well-designed, quality products that will probably establish the firm as a reference in this area.

The advantage of Livall bike helmets

Currently, Livall has mainly focused on creating Bluetooth helmets, including the urban-style connected bike helmet Livall BH51, which offers a very interesting range of possibilities thanks to its ability to connect with a wide range of smartphones, both in terms of safety and entertainment, as well as physical progress and interaction between cyclists.

However, other accessories are available such as the Nano Cadence sensor P1 which helps improve performance and visualize progress on a smartphone, as well as phone mounts compatible with various bike models, and even smart helmets for skiing.

In summary, although the company is still in its infancy, it seems eager to climb the ranks quickly and offers a full range of essential, quality, and above all connected protection gear.
