Weebot presents the range of Dualtron electric scooters
Cousin of the electric scooter brand Speedway, also belonging to the Korean group MiniMotors, the Dualtron brand was created in 2015.
Born from MiniMotors' solid experience (founded in 1999), the Dualtron electric scooters offer, as their name suggests (Dual), two brushless motors on almost all their products to provide the most powerful electric scooters.
The origin of the Dualtron brand and its philosophy

In 2015, Dualtron surpassed the competition with its Dualtron Ultra by offering an electric scooter with a range of 100 km and a speed of about 80 km/h.
Until then, most models on the market were limited to 40 km/h with 50 km of range. Ranked among the high-end electric scooters, the Dualtron brand is ambitious and continuously evolves its technology.
Dualtron's goal is to offer the fastest electric scooter. Their vehicles provide unique sensations while riding, while being increasingly durable and reliable.
The reference model: Dualtron Thunder

Replaced in the fall of 2020 by the Dualtron Storm, the Dualtron Thunder electric scooter struck the market when it was released in 2018. With the help of two 2500W brushless motors each, the Thunder allowed reaching 85 km/h at its launch.
This is the very model that was seen on the A86 highway at 85 km/h. Powerful and fast, the Dualtron Thunder was slowly starting to approach electric scooters.
With the Dualtron Storm, MiniMotors brings additional power and a set of important innovations to delight fans of sporty electric scooters. The power deployed reaches 6640W (which is 1240W more than the Thunder).
It should be noted that the Dualtron Thunder electric scooter was improved in 2021 with a new foldable stem system. This is more durable to keep your vehicle for many years.
The design was also revised to take into account the various user feedback collected over 2 years by MiniMotors. Unlike its little sister, the Dualtron Thunder electric scooter, the Storm can reach the 100 km/h mark while offering extra range (up to 130 km).
The new Dualtron Thunder 2 Electric Scooter

The Dualtron Thunder was originally the fastest electric scooter on the market, attracting speed and adrenaline enthusiasts. After the Thunder, the manufacturer Minimotors released the Dualtron Storm.
In 2021, the manufacturer released a model that redefines standards. The Dualtron Thunder 2 is indeed a performance monster. Equipped with a 60A controller, it delivers a record power of 10800W to reach a maximum speed of 100 km/h. These features make this electric scooter the fastest in the Dualtron range after the X-2.
This very robust electric scooter is equipped with a 72V 40Ah lithium battery that offers a long range of 170 km, enough to cover long distances. It also features hydraulic disc brakes, 11-inch tires, and large suspensions. These components allow for sporty, high-performance riding while ensuring your safety and that of others.
The Dualtron Mini for more lightness

Featuring a brand new design with notably redesigned front suspensions, the Dualtron Mini electric scooter is the brand's entry-level model. One of the few from the manufacturer to offer only one motor but still providing power exceeding 1000W.
Designed primarily for the city, the Dualtron Mini is by far the lightest electric scooter from Dualtron, although it still weighs 22 kg. Far from the 43 kg of the Dualtron Thunder or the 70 kg of the ultimate Dualtron X. It thus offers an ideal compromise between power (1450W peak), range (55 km), and maximum speed of 45 km/h.
With fast charging, you can recharge up to 80% battery in just 3 hours. A direct competitor to the Speedway Mini 4 pro, it offers a bit more range and speed than the latter.
Dualtron X-2 Electric Scooter: Totally Out of the Ordinary

This one has been replaced by an even more powerful model, the Dualtron X-2, an electric scooter reaching a maximum speed of 110 km/h. It is therefore the most powerful model in the Minimotors range (8300W) weighing only 66 kg.
The manufacturer decided to equip the all-terrain scooter with an LG 72V 45Ah lithium battery. This super powerful model is also very practical because it can be used for very long trips. Indeed, its battery allows a range of up to 200 km.
Of course, such power requires high-quality equipment, matching the motors. That is why the Dualtron X-2 is equipped with suspensions adjustable in 19 different positions and large 13-inch tubeless tires to perfectly absorb shocks and vibrations on the road, even at high speed.
Far from the lightweight scooters you see in urban areas, Dualtron X-2 riders must exercise the utmost caution when riding. It is to date the fastest electric scooter for city riding.
Far from the scooter you see in the city, the Dualtron X-2 demands the greatest caution from the rider. It is, to date, the fastest electric scooter approved for city riding.
How to fold a Dualtron Mini?
The Dualtron Mini electric scooter is a compact and practical model for city travel. Indeed, it is easy to fold. Once the scooter is properly turned off, unlock the folding system located on the side of the frame connecting the stem to the deck. Once the mechanism is unlocked, fold the handlebar backward at the fender, then make sure the scooter is compact and the folding system is properly locked. This will prevent damage to your scooter when carrying it everywhere with you. If in doubt about how to fold your Dualtron Mini, you can always consult the manufacturer's user manual.
Which Dualtron electric scooter is the most powerful / fastest?
The fastest electric scooter in the Dualtron range made by Minimotors is the Dualtron X LTD. This power monster is equipped with a 60V battery to enjoy your scooter over 160 km. With its 84 Volts and 13,500W, you can reach a maximum speed of 110 km/h on private land.
With such power, we recommend wearing appropriate gear, even for your shortest trips.
Also, it is important to be informed about the regulations concerning electric scooters for everyone's safety.
