The Dualtron Thunder is an ultra-performance version of the Dualtron Ultra . It was produced in 2018 and is currently the brand's flagship model . It comes in a box that includes the following items:

At first glance, the Thunder displays a design that is both compact and sleek. The frame is made of 6082-T6 aluminum alloys, the handlebar axle is made of high-strength SCM440 steel alloys, and the handles are made of plastic material (polypropylene). Overall, the Thunder is constructed of materials that resist corrosion well.
The handlebar can be folded and unfolded easily thanks to a spring system. It is securely fastened by two clamps. The brake triggers are short and ergonomic, making it easier to handle the brakes. On the left side of the handlebar, there are two buttons:
- A red button (Single/Dual) to choose to ride with a single motor or with two motors .
- A yellow button to select the driving mode and to activate the warnings if necessary.
On the right part of the handlebar, there is an LCD display screen which allows you to view information relating to driving (charge level, autonomy, speed, driving mode, mileage covered, etc.) and a control console with two buttons:

The throttle trigger is placed right next to the control console. The Thunder has a fairly user-friendly lighting system. Battery and autonomy of the Dualtron Thunder electric scooter
The two motors of the Thunder scooter are powered by a rechargeable Li-Ion battery (supplied by LG) with a capacity of 35 Ah and a voltage of 60 V.
Placed under the deck, the battery can be charged by a suitable charger via an integrated 3-pin socket on the back of the deck. An additional socket allows the use of a second charger to speed up recharging.
With a single 1.7 A charger, expect around 19 hours to fully charge the battery, which is a bit long though! The good news is that by using a Dualtron 6.5 A fast charger , in addition to the standard charger (1.7 A), it is possible to fully charge the battery in just 4 to 5 hours .
For long journeys, Minimotors offers you the possibility of connecting an additional battery to the small 4-pin electrical socket integrated into the front of the deck.
In terms of autonomy, driving only in "Single" mode (one motor), the Dualtron Thunder can reach a range of more than 100 km on a single charge .
Minimotors stipulates that the autonomy can reach 120 km for a user weighing 75 kg and driving at a speed of 25 km/h on a flat road. In "Dual" mode (two motors), the range can reach 60 to 70 km.
Wheels and suspension
Like the larger scooters, the Dualtron Thunder is equipped with ultra-wide 11-inch tubeless tires . This contributes to stability on the road and considerably reduces the risk of a puncture. The ultra-performance scooter from Minimotors is equipped with a patented double suspension system.
Composed of two suspension arms on each wheel, it can be personalized by choosing between 5 damping levels. You can also adjust the suspension arms to adjust the angle of the handlebars. The more the arms are lowered, the lower the deck will be and the more effective the damping will be!
Braking system
The Dualtron Thunder is equipped as standard with hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels in addition to the engine brake.
