Medium strength blue liquid solution for locking and sealing all threaded items.

The thread lock is used to prevent the gradual loosening of the screws over time and the vibrations of the device.

Keeps screws tight under vibration

Fills and seals gaps between threads and provides excellent resistance to shock and vibration assemblies.

Threadlocker is an anaerobic glue that secures and increases the hold of threaded assemblies. In fact, over time and with use, the vibrations absorbed by the car can lead to the loosening of certain elements.

The thread lock makes it possible to limit the play in the thread and therefore to securely lock the screw or the bolt. Threadlocker can be permanent or removable depending on the type, but it can usually be removed by heating it.

Advice for using Loctite 243 thread lock

The use of thread lock is really very simple. Thread locker can only be used on metal surfaces. Do not put threadlocker on plastic surfaces.

  1. Apply a few drops of thread lock on the thread of the screw or bolt before screwing them in normally.
  2. Once the thread lock has been removed and the screw put in place, you must respect a drying time.
  3. To remove a screw with blue thread lock, simply unscrew it normally. There will be a little resistance but nothing too bad.
